Nikkei share average on Nov. 21 briefly hit this year's record high in the morning, with recovering 14,800 yen level prices. This was prompted by the purchase of leading issues in high-tech and electronics. Both share prices and the volume at the Tokyo Stock Exchange have recently been soaring, as foreign buying has been continuing.
