Over 80% of corporate managers foresee that Japan's economic expansion will last for more than a year, according to the survey result published in Nihon Keizai Shimbun on Dec. 28. The survey was answered by presidents of 100 major companies. This economic expansion, starting in Feb. 2002, is likely to last longer than Izanagi (name of a deity in Japan's mythology) boom (from Nov. 1965 to Jul. 1970), the longest economic boom after World War II.
