Former Livedoor Co. President Takafumi Horie was indicted on Feb. 13, along with other former company executives. They were indicted on suspicion of violating the Securities and Exchange Law, in that one of the company's subsidiaries spread false information to shareholders and dressed up the financial statements. Tokyo prosecutors are likely to rearrest Horie shortly, on allegation of breaking the securities law, amid the parent company's growing suspicion of accounting fraud.
