Online shopping mall operator Rakuten Inc. announced its consolidated statement for fiscal 2005 on Feb. 16. The IT firm recorded a surplus for the first time since its listing to the market. Rakuten also boosted its sales to approximately 130 billion yen, increasing by 2.8 times from the previous year.
