Share prices continue to steadily rise even in April, the beginning of new fiscal year. Livedoor cases, in which IT celebrities were arrested for suspected financial fraud, exerted little influence on the market, while some people say it is about time for price boost to be over.
Nikkei Business magazine carried a cover story titled “How Long Will The Story of Stock Enthusiasm Last?” in its Apr. 17 issue. The magazine warns that the feast surprisingly comes to an end, sooner than expected. Its scenario is, the increase in interest rate in Japan, the U.S.A and Europe, will reduce global money surplus, which is serving to drive up share prices.
