Sony Ericsson’s Walkman mobile has the function as a music player, which can easily be handled with the large button.
KDDI Corp. said on May 22 to release its new mobile phone model under Sony’s Walkman brand in late June. The new model has a built-in 1-gigabyte flash memory and is capable of storing up to 630 songs. It can continuously play for about 30 hours.
KDDI’s rival mobile carrier SoftBank Corp. and Apple Computer Inc. have already unveiled their plan to jointly develop iPod-equipped phone.
