Japan’s major trading company Marubeni Corp. reached an agreement to buy 33.67% of the shares of supermarket chain Daiei Inc. from Industrial Revitalization Corp. of Japan for 69.8 billion yen. Marubeni becomes Daiei’s largest shareholder with a 44.6 % stake.
