NHK’s programs going on the air in the past are to be distributed online as early as 2008, according to the proposal for reforms on communications and broadcasting by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications announced on Sep. 1. Related bills are to be submitted to the ordinary session of the Diet next year.
