JAL and ANA to End In-flight Online Service

9, 26. 2006

Japan Airlines Corp. and All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. said to discontinue their in-flight Internet service on Dec. 29. This is because Internet access service via satellite called Connexion by Boeing will be terminated. Both airliners have been using this service.

Boeing Co., decided to abandon Connexion by Boeing because the market did not expand as it expected. JAL and ANA will offer the service at free of charge from Oct. 3 to the final day of the service.
