Minicar Domestic Sales Likely to Reach 2 Million

Minivehicle’s yearly sales in Japan are quite likely to be over 2 million. According to the statistics by the Japan Mini Vehicles Association, 1,555,336 new minivehicles were sold from January to September this year, increasing by 4.68% compared to the same period of 2005.

If the cars continue to be sold at the same rate, the yearly sales will reach 2 million for the first time, bigger than last year’s record of 1,923,716. The sales have been increasing every year, since 1.8 million units were sold in 2003.
