Mobile Suit Gundam made of pure platinum“GUNDAM FIX PLATINUM”
Bandai Co., Ltd. and Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry K.K. unveiled to the press on May 10, 2007 the anime robot Mobile Suit Gundam made of pure platinum, “GUNDAM FIX PLATINUM”, produced jointly by the two companies. With some diamond used in making the head section, the Gundum is said to be worth about 30 million yen. It stands only 12.5 centimeters but weighs 1.4 kilograms. It is not for sale , but it will be displayed at various events to be held at home and abroad, starting with the “C3xHobby 2007” to be held at Makuhari Messe in July 2007.
