Mitsukoshi, Ltd. announced on June 5, 2007 that it will open its directly operated specialty shop which now holds floor in its department store at the discount clothing store, "outlet mall", for the first time. The "outlet mall" is "Mita Premium Outlet", which open in Kobe on July 6. Mitsukoshi hopes the opening of the new shop will help reduce the risk of holding inventories by expanding the sales networks.
