Nintendo revises upward its consolidated sales forecast

Nintendo Co., Ltd. said on July 25, 2007 that it revised upward its consolidated sales forecast for the term ending in March 2008 by 18% from 1,140 billion yen to 1,400 billion yen. Current account profit was also revised upward from 290 billion yen to 410 billion yen, and operating profit from 175 billion yen to 245 billion yen. Brisk sales of the mobile game machine "Nintendo DS" and the family game machine "Wii" was given as the reason for the revisions.
