JAL forms tie-up with world's largest internet-based travel agency

Japan Airlines Corp. (JAL) announced on Sept. 18, 2007 that it has formed a tie-up with Expedia Japan, the website targeted at Japan of Expedia, Inc. of the United States, the world largest internet-based travel agency. This makes it possible to make reservations at about 34,000 hotels over the world that are registered with Expedia from the international booking page of the JAL website. The new service started on Sept. 19.
