Mazda to take part in Norway's national project. 30 hydrogen cars to be delivered

Mazda Motor Corp. announced on Nov. 7, 2007 that it will deliver 30 units of hydrogen rotary engine car "Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen RE" to Norway starting in the summer of 2008 to take part in that country's national project "HyNor". HyNor calls for the construction of oxygen filling stations along the highway between Stavanger and Oslo to make it possible for oxygen cars to travel all the way through the 580-kilometer highway connecting the two cities.
