EDION to replace HD DVD players sold by its shops with Blu-Ray players

   EEDION Corp. announced on Feb. 21 that it will replace the Toshiba-made players of the next-generation DVD, HD DVD, sold by the home appliance shops of the EDION Group with their rival Blu-Ray disc players. This is a measure taken to cope with the withdrawal of Toshiba from the production of the HD DVD. In case the price of a Blu-Ray player offered for this exchange is higher than that of a HD DVD, the customer will be asked to pay the difference. The offer is good from March 1 through March 31.
