Gran Turismo of Maserati
Maserati unveiled "Gran Turismo S" at the Geneva motor show. According to Cornes, the new car is expected to be put on the Japanese market in May. The price and delivery schedule are yet to be decided.
The new model is a high performance version of the Gran Turismo. It is fitted with a 4.7-liter, V8 engine that gives the maximum power of 440ps. It has the newly developed electronics-controlled transmission "MC-shift." Its gear box has a trans-accelerator layout. Its front brake disc uses the aluminium and steel dual-cast technology developed in collaboration with Brembo, and it is fitted together with the aluminium mono-bloc six-piston caliper to give high braking performance.
For the exterior, the car has the body designed by Pininfarina, and for the interior, it uses Poltrona Frau leather and Alcantara seat for renewed design.
