The 17-inch “8730w” fitted with numeric keys
Hewlett-Packard Japan, Ltd. will start selling in late October the laptops of the top-class series "HPEliteBook" for the corporate use. They come in five different models ranging from the mobile type with 12.1-inch liquid crystal display panel to the 17-inch high performance type.
Most of the new models are made of anodized aluminum, the material used in the production of airplanes, for higher durability. For use in business activities, they have the function to completely delete the data stored in their memory system. They are also equipped with fingerprint recognition device.
The prices range from 218,400 yen for the 12.1-inch model "2530p" and the top-class 17-inch model "8730w" to 168,000 yen or up for the main models "6930p".
