Another model of Japanese car classified as sports car disappearing
The S2000 is the sports car for which the driving system named "FR" and the 50:50 front-rear weight distribution of the body were realized. It has gone through minor model changes since it was introduced to the market in 1999, but its production will have been terminated without going through a full model change.
It will be the first stoppage of the production of a car model by Honda since the company stopped the production of its sports car NSX in 2005.
