Toy maker Bandai sells baby bibs with hoods, designed as costumes resembling popular cartoon characters. The product is named SUTAISTYLE, targeted for babies from zero to two years old.

The characters depicted are Masked Rider (Kamen Rider), Shocker, Red Ranger and Pink Ranger from Secret Squadron Five Rangers (Himitsu Sentai Go-ranger), Ultraman, Ultra Seven, Doraemon, and Drami. These characters were on TV programs during the 1970s, and remind parents in their 30s of their childhood. Parents may enjoy costume play by dressing their babies with SUTAISTYLE, which is made of 100% cotton.

It is not a problem to wear this bib while going out thanks to the hood, which is easily attached and removed from the bib using snaps on the shoulders. It is available in August, and priced at 1,575 yen (tax including).
