Actroid to be designed as it looks like you.
Department store chain Sogo & Seibu, corporatized by Seven & i Holdings, will sell a human-alike robot, Actroid on January 2 2010. It is priced at 20.1 million yen.
It is the first time that Actroid, developed by Sanrio's subsidiary Kokoro, is to sell for individuals. A robot will be made as it looks very much like a purchaser, and is capable of moving each facial parts, as well as a head and elbows.
Purchase application will be accepted until January 3 at the 28 stores of Sogo or Seibu. Only 2 applicants are chosen if it is in high demand.
