A Japanese cameraman was killed in Bangkok in a site where anti-government protesters and security forces clashed.
Hiroyuki Muramoto, a cameraman of Reuters news agency was shot in the chest on April 10 2010 when he was covering a political violence in Bangkok. Thai foreign minister Kasit Piromya sent a message to the Japanese government, expressing his condolences over Muramoto's death. The minister also said to pay the utmost consideration to the safety of Japanese nationals.
